News 11 Weather: Another First Alert Action Day

The Extreme Heat Warning over the area is expected to be lifted this evening at 8:00 p.m.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Extreme Heat Warning placed over Yuma County, Imperial County and Southern La Paz County is expected to be lifted this evening around 8:00 p.m. but don't get too comfortable.

Temps across Imperial County will still hover, if not exceed 110 degrees before slowly making way to normal temps for this time of year.

Yuma County will see a dip and settle in around 107 which is the norm for this time of the year.

Temps could register a few degree below average but still ranging above 100 through the weekend and heating up once again.
