Active weather for California with calmer conditions expected here in Arizona

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - There's an active weather pattern in the Pacific and it's bringing impacts along the coast of California.

Going into Thursday, the pacific storm is expected to bring heavy rainfall, flooding, and gusty winds to Northern and even Southern California.

For us here in the Desert Southwest, tracking chances for rain showers to take place in Southeastern California between tomorrow morning-afternoon.

As for Yuma county, we will see some passing clouds with drier conditions.

Later tomorrow morning and early afternoon breezier conditions will arrive within our area as we could experience highest gust of 20 MPH.

For the next 3 days, mainly drier, calmer, and seasonable temperatures for the rest of the week.

By the end of the weekend and at the start of next week warmer temperatures will arrive with an increase in more precipitation on Monday night and into Tuesday.
