June 15th, 2022
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - We have another heat rise on our hands, as strong high pressure is on the verge of getting us back to excessive levels.
From an official standpoint, the Desert Southwest reached a daytime high temperature range of 105 to 108 degrees.
For Thursday, the National Weather Service has issued and Excessive Heat Warning for most of our area from 10 am to 8 pm.
We're expected to feel our heat peak from 107 to 113 degrees by then.
Beyond this, expect a somewhat decent temperature downgrade through Father's Day weekend.
