Get ready for Excessive Heat

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - It will be another hot and sunny afternoon with temperatures slightly above-normal. Temperatures will continue climb this week as we will face our hottest temperatures of the year.

The National Weather Service Phoenix issued an Excessive Heat Watch for Yuma and Imperial county for Wednesday morning through Sunday evening for dangerously hot conditions. Afternoon highs is expected to reach 106 to 115.

With temperatures increasing this week make sure to take proper precautions against the heat.
