News 11 Weather Authority: More Spring warming

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - We begin the final week of April with something most of us can come to expect this time of year; a warming trend.

Daytime high temperatures continue to rise from the weekend, as our daytime mercury landed from the high 80s to the low 90s.

A developing ridge of high pressure will hit it's apex on Tuesday, with daytime highs expected to peak in the high 90s.

There's even a remote chance that some parts of our area could reach 100 degrees.

Beyond this, a weak system will begin lowering our temperatures again.
