Strong winds continue into the night kicking around dust and sand

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - A weak weather disturbance passing to our north will bring breezy to windy conditions this afternoon, which combined with dry conditions will promote elevated to critical fire weather conditions across the region today. A stronger weather system will move through the region by the end of the week bringing much cooler temperatures that will be closer to or slightly below normal with readings mostly in the 80s as well as enhanced winds.
