News 11 Weather Authority: Wind and rain potential
March 3rd, 2022
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Our recent run of higher temperatures is about to come to a temporary end.
A potent low pressure system is already bringing precipitation into portions of Southern California and even Arizona and will continue to push through the Southwest over the next 24 hours.
Our area will experience a quick temperature drop anywhere from 10 to 15 degrees, with wind gusts up to 35 miles per hour and even a slight chance of showers on Friday.
We might even have shower chances overnight.
Beyond that, expect the cool feelings to linger throughout the 1st weekend of March.
