News 11 Weather Authority: Temp escalation continues

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - At least for now, the Winter weather pattern has turned milder in the West.

A ridge of high pressure remains anchored in the East Pacific and will continue it's build into the Western states for the next several days.

Daytime highs will begin to see temperatures of 80 degrees and above to pop up in our area, starting on Wednesday and continuing beyond the coming weekend.

Near record highs could potentially emerge in this span of time.
