Temperatures to warm up for the weekend

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)- After a period of heavy rain and fog, a warming trend will persist through this weekend.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), expect dry conditions with a gradual warming trend through the weekend.

A low pressure system moving through the western states early next week will lead to a cooling trend.

There will also be a slight chance of precipitation for the higher terrain north and east of Phoenix.
