Brief warm-up expected for the weekend

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)- Temperatures will warm substantially through the weekend with lower elevation afternoon highs rebounding into the 70s.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the weather pattern will change abruptly again next week with cooler temperatures returning and chances for precipitation.

The best opportunity for accumulating light rain should occur on Monday and Tuesday, but could linger over parts of south-central Arizona through Wednesday.
