High pressure will bring above average temps by the 1st weekend of 2020.

Our chilly to mild desert feelings will gradually turn up, as a ridge building in the interior West will raise our daytime highs into the low 70's this upcoming weekend.

Even though our skies should remain relatively clear from now through the next several days, expect our mercury to return to near normal levels by next week.

A series of weak disturbances should counter-balance the effects of the latest high pressure system to lower our daytime high temps back into the high 60's.

Despite 2019 closing out with "on" and "off again" rainfall, we are not expecting an precipitation to return anytime soon.
