Flood warnings across much of Ohio

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ohio (NBC, KYMA) - After another round of heavy rains, flood warnings and watches have been in effect across much of the Buckeye state.

The Germantown Earthen Dam located near Dayton is nearly overflowing after heavy rain fall.

The dam is working overtime, protecting communities in southwest Ohio from potential catastrophic flooding.

Sunday's storms brought heavy rains and knocked out power to thousands in the Miami valley.

A flood warning was issued for nearby Greene County around 4 p.m. Monday.
