YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - In a trend that's been sticking with us for plenty of March, both Yuma and El Centro have broken their daily heat records for today. El Centro and Yuma both got into the triple digits today, breaking the previous record 98°F set in 2015 for both cities.

If you're looking to head out tonight, temperatures will be in the mid 90s around 6 p.m. and steadily drop into the later evening. Expect the low 80s to roll in around 9 p.m. Our overnight lows are going to stick in the upper 60s, with both Yuma and El Centro expected to clock in at 68°F at lowest. Wellton and Blythe are going to be a bit cooler, dropping to 63°F.

Winds will be calm tonight but are expected to pick up late afternoon tomorrow. Moving north from San Luis and into Yuma, we are tracking 20mph winds pushing through Arizona around 3 p.m. During this same time, Wellton is expected to catch the highest gusts, nearly reaching 30mph. Though they will start to tail off as we head into Sunday evening, gusts are going to sit comfortably in the mid teens through the night. El Centro is going to experience a similar pattern with less intensity. The city may hit 20mph at its peak, but will most likely sit just below that number.

For tomorrow's temps, the Imperial Valley may sneak into the triple digits again, but Yuma County should only get into the high 90s.
