Temperatures declining for next several days

KYMA

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Temperatures highs are very consistent with what the Desert Southwest experienced Saturday, the high 70s.

Temps are expected to drop into the mid 70s by dinner time Sunday night and that is what we will be at for our highs Monday.

As for the wind, it was ramping up Sunday but is expected to die down heading into late this evening. Going into Monday, gusts are going to be intense across the entire region.

Yuma will see gusts north of 20 mph in the afternoon, while Imperial County will get slightly slower gusts. Tuesday is expected to repeat the same conditions.

Clouds will stick with us for most of the work week, and especially the beginning of it. Yuma County is not expected to get hit with rain, but there is still a slight chance we see some precipitation in the Imperial Valley Monday and Wednesday.
