Two-day timelapse shows ice drifting along Hudson River

NEW YORK (CBS, KYMA) - A two-day timelapse filmed from New Jersey shows large sheets of ice moving along the Hudson River as frigid conditions gripped the New York City.

Footage from WorldTimeZone (WTZ) shows the frozen river, with the Manhattan skyline in the background.

"Ice [flows] moving along the Hudson River near Manhattan, New York City," according to a post on X.

The National Weather Service issued a cold weather advisory through to Wednesday for New York and parts of New Jersey.
