Temperatures continue to rise through week

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Temperatures were living in the low 70s Tuesday, but the increasing trend we have been tracking is on schedule to continue into the weekend.
For Wednesday, temperatures will get into the low-to-mid 70s. Yuma is expected to reach around 74°F, while El Centro will see mirror conditions.
Heading into the late night hours, lows will dip into the high 40s - a trend that is also on the rise as of late. This will hold true from Yuma to El Centro.
However, the eastern area of Yuma County will drop into the low 40s, along with Blythe and Quartzsite up north. Ocotillo is another outlier, as it is expected to remain in the upper 50s.
Winds gusts will be higher in Yuma County, potentially reaching up to 20mph throughout the day. As for the Imperial Valley, winds will remain a lot calmer, staying in the single digits.
Fast forwarding into Thursday morning, temperatures will continue to rise and the skies will remain mostly cloudy.
