Heavy lake-effect snow blankets Upstate New York

PULASKI, N.Y. (CBS, KYMA) - Heavy lake-effect snow settled across southern Oswego and northern Cayuga counties in New York Friday morning, creating difficult travel conditions.

Footage captured by Chris Luft shows the snowfall blanketing Pulaski during the early hours of the morning.

"After a brief break, heavy snow has once again started in Pulaski," he wrote on X.

He also did a follow-up post on X Saturday, with the caption reading, "Snowing yet again in Pulaski."

The National Weather Service earlier advised the intense band of snow would center on Oswego County, with the "extremely heavy snowfall rates" impacting travel.
