Light snow hits town in North Carolina

JAMESTOWN, N.C. (CBS, KYMA) - The National Weather Service (NWS) warned areas of western North Carolina to plan for slippery road conditions and up to two-inches of snow accumulation as wintry weather hit Monday.

The NWS urged drivers in the Northern Piedmont and northern Coastal Plain of North Carolina to "slow down and use caution" overnight into Tuesday as the weather event continued.

Footage taken by X user @brantg81 shows light snow coming down in Jamestown, southwest of Greensboro, Monday.

"Snow is starting to pick up in Jamestown," he wrote in a post on X.
