Dry conditions return to the Desert Southwest

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Temperatures highs for Sunday are expected to remain in the mid-60s in Yuma County and will be a couple degrees warmer in the Imperial Valley.

Temperatures will rise back to moderacy Monday, getting up to the low-70s across the entire region. Yuma was covered with fog Sunday morning and that may make a return on Monday, as well.

As for the skies, they are more clear than originally was tracked. With that being said, there is still a good chance overcast conditions return. However, we are not tracking any rainfall in the short term as of right now.

Calm winds will roll through the Desert Southwest for the next 48 hours or so. The only place that will consistently sit in double-digit wind gusts will be Ocotillo.

We are making our way back to normalcy in the region.
