Winds slowing down as temps stay warm

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Dry and calm conditions are expected to continue across Yuma and Imperial Counties through at least early next week, with temperatures staying above normal for late October.

Daytime highs will hover in the upper 80s to low 90s through the weekend, while overnight lows will settle in the mid-60s under clear skies.

Winds may become lightly breezy at times, especially during the afternoons, but no significant gusts or weather hazards are expected.

Looking ahead, high pressure will rebuild over the Desert Southwest by Saturday, keeping the region dry and stable into next week.

Temperatures will remain five to eight degrees above average, meaning a warm start to November is on the way.

In short no rain, plenty of sunshine, and mild breezes will continue to dominate the forecast for both Yuma and Imperial Counties.
