Breezy conditions linger as temps stay consistent

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Breezy conditions are expected across Yuma and Imperial Counties through Wednesday afternoon as a weak cold front moves through the region.

Winds could gust between 25 to 35 miles per hour, especially near foothill areas and open desert zones, before easing by sunset Wednesday.

Aside from the brief uptick in wind, dry and mostly tranquil weather will continue through the rest of the week and into the weekend.

Temperatures will stay above normal for late October, with highs ranging from the upper 80s to low 90s during the afternoon and mild overnight lows in the mid-60s.

By the weekend, a ridge of high pressure will build back over the Desert Southwest, keeping skies clear and maintaining the warm, dry pattern into early next week.
