Warm, breezy midweek before a comfortable weekend ahead
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - It was a warm but pleasant Wednesday across the Desert Southwest, with highs in the lower 90s under gradually clearing skies.
A weak system that brought some morning clouds and light showers is now moving out, setting the stage for calmer and cooler days ahead.
By Thursday, temperatures will dip back into the lower to mid-80s with mostly sunny skies and lighter winds.
A wind advisory remains in effect for parts of Imperial County through early Thursday morning, where gusts could still reach around 40 miles per hour before settling down by sunrise.
Heading into the weekend, expect quiet and comfortable weather with plenty of sunshine and highs ranging from the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
Early next week looks to stay dry as well, with a gradual warm-up possible by midweek perfect for any outdoor plans as we wrap up October.
