Quiet and comfortable conditions for week ahead
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - After a warm and sunny weekend, tranquil weather continues for Yuma and Imperial Counties this week, with highs hovering in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees and cooler nights dipping into the low 60s.
Skies will stay mostly clear through midweek, though some thin, high clouds could drift in by Tuesday as a weak low-pressure system passes north of Arizona.
That system may spark a few light showers over the Arizona high country, but the Desert Southwest will remain dry.
Winds stay light and variable, picking up slightly from the west on Wednesday before calming again heading into the weekend.
By Thursday, temperatures may dip briefly into the low 80s, then rebound back toward 90 as high pressure builds over the region Friday and Saturday.
Expect a quiet stretch of weather through the weekend with plenty of sunshine perfect for any outdoor plans.
