Normal temps and breezy days ahead

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Clear skies and dry conditions will dominate the weather across Yuma and Imperial Counties this week.

Highs will stay in the mid-90s through midweek, with overnight lows dipping into the upper 60s to low 70s.

By Thursday and Friday, high pressure will push afternoon highs into the upper 90s, with a shot at hitting 100 degrees in a few spots.

Heading into the weekend, a dry system passing to the north will bring breezy afternoons, with winds gusting between 20 and 25 miles per hour. Temperatures will ease back closer to normal by Saturday, but rain chances remain at zero.

Overall, residents can expect a warm, sunny, and breezy stretch to finish out September.
