More humidity and chance of rain this weekend
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Humidity will overtake the Desert Southwest once again throughout the weekend with dew points getting close to 70 °F late Saturday night and dropping to the low 50s heading into Sunday, still higher than moderate humidity for the region.
Temperatures hit triple digits in certain areas of the Imperial Valley and all of Yuma County at its height on Saturday, and should keep the same rate heading into midday Sunday to pair with the humidity.
While Yuma County should steer clear of rainfall, there is a chance for some quick-hitting precipitation in the Imperial Valley early Sunday morning, mainly in El Centro.
