FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Heavy winds on the way for both counties

Strong gusts are likely on the way, with speeds as strong as 35 miles per hour coming for the Imperial Valley

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Heavy winds are on the way for the Desert Southwest, with the Imperial Valley likely to see some of the strongest gusts, with speeds as high as 35 miles per hour coming in.

Temperatures however, will continue to drop, with daytime highs continuing to fall within the 80's range for both counties.
