FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Warm weekend on the way for the Desert Southwest

Things will be warming up for the weekend throughout the area, as daytime highs will likely hit the 80's by Sunday

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Hotter days are on the way for the Desert Southwest, as temperatures will likely hit the 80's range by the weekend.

Those warm conditions will carry over into the new work week as well.

Winds however, will remain calm for both counties over the next few days.
