Widespread haze entering the Desert Southwest today
YUMA COUNTY (KYMA, KECY) Widespread haze will enter Yuma County this afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), light and variable wind will enter from the the South at 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight there will be widespread haze before 8pm, followed by clear skies and low temperatures around 72 degrees.
Hot and dry conditions will persist through next week, but after today, some slight cooling will drop temperatures closer to normal readings.
Breezy conditions will be likely each afternoon. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible across the far eastern half of Arizona nearly every afternoon.
