Warmer temps before storm system brings possible rain next week

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)- High pressure building into the region over the next couple days will lead to warmer conditions and high temperatures climbing to above the 80 degree mark across the lower deserts for Friday and Saturday.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), a storm system early next week will bring cooler temperatures and chance for precipitation.

The best chances will be Monday over the higher terrain areas of eastern Arizona. Warmer conditions are expected to return by the middle of next week.

Monday, Sunny conditions will persist with a high near 79 with North northeast wind around 5 mph.

Monday night, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 56. North northwest wind around 5 mph.
