Scores and highlights from a busy day in prep sports across the Imperial Valley

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - On Thursday night the Vincent Memorial Scots boys basketball team saw their magical season come to an end with a 62-58 loss to Campbell in the Division V Championship game. The Scots entered the playoffs as the #8 seed and advanced to the title game.

In prep baseball, both Holtville and Southwest EC lost to the #1 seeds. Both teams stay alive in the double elimination format. Holtville plays again on Saturday at home at 11:00 a.m. Southwest will also play on Saturday at home at 7:00 p.m.
