News 11 Weather Authority: Mild streak continues

YUMA, Ariz., (KYMA, KECY) - Our mild feelings continue to persist, thanks to the balance of the upper level low to the Northwest and a high pressure ridge well to the South.

We should hold on to our daytime highs, being in the range of the high 90s and low 100s through Thursday.

But, by the upcoming weekend, our mercury numbers should start surging.

We could rise the daytime heat to excessive levels, that could peak up to the level of 115 degrees by next week.
