News 11 Weather Authority: Near normal Memorial Day

YUMA, Ariz., (KYMA, KECY) - In conjunction to warm air flow from the West, a disturbance in the Interior West is settling our temperatures to either normal or slightly above normal settings.

In the coming days, expect our daytime highs to rise in the neighborhood of 105 to 107 degrees.

Even though we'll keep our dry heat ways here at home, chances for isolated thunderstorms will develop by Wednesday; serving as a foreshadowing of the coming Monsoon Season.
