News 11 Weather Authority: 100s will remain consistent

May 26th, 2021

YUMA, Ariz., (KYMA, KECY) - A weak low pressure trough has brought some cloud coverage to the Desert Southwest over the past 24 to 36 hours.

This weak system has also taken a little edge off the hotter air influence that our area is receiving, with daytime high temperatures expected to hover around the low 100s for the rest of the week.

By the time we get into the Memorial Day holiday weekend, we might see a minimal temperature drop that will prove to be temporary.
