After trailing 2-0 after the first period, the Vegas Golden Knights score five unanswered goals in Minnesota
ST. PAUL, Minn. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - After losing the home ice advantage in the opening game of the series versus the Minnesota Wild, the Vegas Golden Knights took it back on Thursday night. Minnesota looking well in control in front of the home crowd at the Xcel Energy Center. The Wild scored twice in the opening period and seemed set to take a 2-1 series lead. Vegas came out of the 1st intermission on fire, scoring three goals in the second period. Vegas never looked back. The Golden Knights scored two more goals late in the third on their way to a 5-2 victory. The Knights regain the home ice advantage and now lead the series 2-1.
