YPG Overview
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY) - On Wednesday, Dec. 18 at the Main Library, Mark Schauer, Public Affairs Specialist/Editor for the Yuma Proving Ground, will present “Yuma Proving Ground: an Overview” at 3:00 p.m. Yuma Proving Ground (YPG) is a United States Army proving ground and one of the largest military installations in the world. It is a subordinate command of the Army Test and Evaluation Command. Learn more about the role YPG plays in artillery testing. There is no charge to attend.
North Pole Craft
Also on Wednesday, Dec. 18, families are invited to the San Luis Library at 4:30 p.m. for a North Pole-inspired craft! Make a Christmas tree and Santa Claus out of cut paper, and decorate them with supplies provided by the library. There is no charge to attend. The San Luis Library is located at 1075 N 6th Avenue. Holiday Extravaganza
On Saturday, Dec. 21, families are invited to the Heritage Library at 1:00 p.m. for a Holiday Extravaganza! Celebrate the spirit of the holidays with crafts, games, and activities for all ages. There is no charge to attend.
