California shooting leaves 2 dead
(KYMA, KECY/CNN) - At least 2 people were killed and several others were injured during a shooting Sunday afternoon in a California park.
Authorities received reports of a shooting at San Pedro's Peck Park just before 4pm.
Hundreds of people were in the area for a car show, however officials are unsure if the incident happened at the show itself.
Witnesses say when the gunfire erupted, people immediately ran from the scene.
Police say the incident began as a dispute between two people in the area of the baseball diamond at the park.
According to the Los Angeles fire department, several people were taken to local hospitals, 2Â have passed away and several others are in critical condition.
Officials say they do not have anyone in custody so far.
