Deadline to request stimulus check approaching

(KYMA, KECY) - Time is running out for people to request their federal coronavirus economic stimulus payment.

During the spring, Congress and President Donald Trump agreed to the CARES Act.

One provision in the legislation provided a $1,200 check to individuals making less than $75,000 a year, or $2,400 for couples with joint income under $150,000.
