With more people working from home, that means an increased amount of individuals also shopping from home. Fashion marketplace apps such as Poshmark and Depop are an innovative, trendy tool to help gain a few extra bucks from the comfort of your home.
Poshmark, which is described on their website as a, " Simple and fun way to buy and sell fashion. Shop from millions of people — and start selling too!" is a free app available on the App Store.
It allows users to sell and buy clothes, shoes and accessories. The app is friendly as well with clear guidelines on how to upload photos of your clothes.
Depop, a similar buy and sell app, is described on their website as, " A mobile space where you can see what your friends and the people you’re inspired by are liking, buying, and selling."
Both of these apps allow those who are stuck at home in quarantine to take a look in their closets and find items they may have outgrown. With a few simple clicks those items can quickly be off their hands and into someones who can rock it for years to come.
