TEMPE, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Arizona State University's Sun Devil Stadium was packed with fans attending Kanye West's church service Saturday.

The event called "Awaken 2020" featured West and his Sunday Service Collective choir.

Video shows thousands gathered to hear the rapper and choir, as they performed on stage for an hour.

The entire event lasted 12 hours, featuring multiple speakers throughout the day.

"Awaken 2020" was free, but required registration in advance.

Organizers say the purpose of the gathering was to come together in God's love and bring healing.
