Kindness makes a Difference Day teaches kids to pay it forward

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA/KSWT/KECY) - On Saturday, over 260 children from around 30 area schools participated in the Kid's Cuddle Kit Closet 'Kindness Makes a Difference' Day.

Cookie decorating and even a free warm blanket and Cuddle Kit were gifted to the children.

At the end of the event children visited a nursing home to 'pay it forward'.

The program teaches children the importance of getting help but also making sure that they 'pay it forward'.
