Oscar-winning actress Eva Marie Saint dies at age 102

(NBC, KYMA) - Legendary Oscar winner Eva Marie Saint has died at the age of 102.

In a statement, her family said she died of natural causes, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Saint, whose career spanned more than seven decades, starred in iconic Hollywood films like "On The Waterfront," opposite Marlon Brando, a role that earned her the Academy Award.

She also went on to star in the Alfred Hitchcock thriller "North by Northwest," and Saint's last big-screen credit was in the 2014 fantasy romance "Winter's Tale."

She is survived by her two children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
