From putting on caps to wearing the right shoes, Regan Smith is pushing for more gold

(KYMA, KECY/NBC News) - In today's 'Countdown to Tokyo,' Olympic swimmer Regan Smith will take every bit of luck she can find, even down to wearing the right shoes.

Making the Olympic team is rarely easy and even less so when it comes to competing in the pool against the deep squad of American swimmers. And Smith is going to let her 'Crocs' take care of that on her hopeful road to a gold medal this summer.
