Midnight at the Oasis kickoff rally

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Car enthusiasts rev your engines, the Midnight at the Oasis kickoff rally happens in Downtown Yuma on Thursday.

Tons of hot rods and locals will be out on Main Street for what is the start of the 32nd Annual Midnight at the Oasis.

The main event will take place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Desert Sun Stadium.

We spoke to a car enthusiast at the rally who shared why locals should come down and check it out.

"I like it because it's like a community thing. Everybody comes down and just hangs out and shows their cars off. Get something to eat at the local restaurants. It's a cool vibe. Come out bring the kids and check out some cars," says Joe Figueroa with Street Villains Car Club.
