USPS kicks off Operation Santa 2025

(NBC, KYMA) - With 101 days left until Christmas Day, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) is kicking off its 2025 season of Operation Santa.

The program, now in its 113th year, invites children and families across the country to start writing and mailing their letters to Santa Claus.

It connects those letter writers to generous elves who will help to fulfill their Christmas wishes.

This year, Operation Santa is encouraging participating elves to adopt family letters, which makes it possible to fill the wishes of an entire household at once.

Letters to Santa must be postmarked by December 6 to be eligible for adoption and fulfillment.

There's also an online gift catalog with thousands of items to choose from, making it easier for the elf adopters to shop and ship directly.
