YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - It's time to meet our Pet of the Week for all you dog lovers.

This lovable pup could be the one for you.

Meet our Pet of the Week, Bryan!

Bryan is a 2 year old pit bull terrier with a sweet cookies and cream fur coat.

The Humane Society of Yuma picked Bryan as the pet of the week because he’s in the need of a forever home. 

What makes Bryan special is he likes to play with toys, is treat motivated, and knows how to sit on command. 

Bryan patiently waits in his kennel to be taken out and walks well on a leash. 

After running around and burning off some energy, Bryan will come sit at your feet and wait for you to give him some affection.

Bryan absolutely loves to be scratched and petted.

HSOY is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Bissell Pet Foundation is helping move homeless pets from kennels to couches by sponsoring the longest-ever summer national “Empty the Shelters” event.  

Adoption fees are reduced until July 31st.
