Meet our Pet of the Week, Shelby!
Shelby is a 3-month-old female tortie-colored domestic shorthair.
The Humane Society of Yuma picked Shelby as the pet of the week because she’s in the need of a forever home.
What makes Shelby special is she will gently lean into you and purr while you scratch her head.
She also enjoys belly rubs.
Like all young kittens, she is very energetic and playful.
Her favorite toy is anything that dangles.
Shelby also has a sweet side and enjoys being held.

HSOY is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Bissell Pet Foundation is helping move homeless pets from kennels to couches by sponsoring the longest-ever summer national “Empty the Shelters” event.
Adoption fees are reduced until July 31st.
