Raising Cane’s 14th Annual Fundraiser raises $3k for Humane Society of Yuma
This $3,000 donation to the Humane Society of Yuma is part of over $600k being granted to other local pet welfare communities across the nation
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) — Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers hosted its 14th annual plush puppy fundraiser and the Humane Society of Yuma (HSOY) was donated $3,000.
Raising Cane's yearly fundraiser consists of selling limited-edition holiday plush puppies as their way to give back to local pet non-profit organizations.
A $3,000 donation was made this week to HSOY with a special check presentation with the organization's leaders.
“One of the things that makes Raising Cane’s so great is its unwavering commitment to active Community involvement,” said Area Leader of Restaurants Manny Lopez. “But we couldn’t have made this donation if it weren’t for all of our incredible local Caniacs. We’re very grateful for their generosity and we’re proud to help support the life-changing work Humane Society of Yuma does for pets in our Community.”
“The Humane Society of Yuma is thrilled to receive this generous donation from Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers,” said Executive Director Annette Lagunas. “This money will greatly assist us with our mission to ‘reduce the number of homeless pets through adoption, rescue, and spay and neuter programs.’ We couldn’t do it without the support of partners like you!”
Yuma's Cane's Restaurant will be part of Raising Cane's goal of donating over $600,000 to pet non-profit organizations across the nation.
