The City of Somerton flips the on-switch on light parade

Deadline for Somerton Light Parade is December 10th at 5:00 p.m.

SOMERTON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Come December 17th, the City of Somerton will be a beacon of light for South County. The city plans to host its 12th Annual Light Parade.

From now and on until December 10th those looking to take part in the parade need to register. The parade is free and to enter and all the city asks is that no one dresses up like Santa Claus or the Grinch.

The annual event brings nonprofits, companies, and residents together to not only bring in the holidays but preempt the 2021 Tamale Festival.
