YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The top plays from last week, September 15-22, have arrived.

At number five, Southwest's Joe Johnston shakes a defender for a nice juke and big gain.

At the four spot, Holtville's Enrique Armas rips a big run for one of his five touchdowns, making multiple defenders miss in the process.

Staying on the gridiron, Antelope's Trane Figueroa made an incredible grab, concentrating on a ball tipped in the air.

For the second best play of the week, we pivot to the court where Brawley graduate Brooke Whittle put her body on the line, making an exceptional dig, resulting in a point for the Desert Warriors.

And the top play of the week belongs to the Southwest Eagles. Leonardo Valenzuela picked off O'Farrell Charter's quarterback and ran it back for a game-winning pick-six. The win broke a 22-game skid and marked their first home win since 2021.
