Bay Area Host Committee holds Super Bowl Handoff Ceremony
SAN FRANCISCO (KYMA, NBC) - The Bay Area Host Committee held the Super Bowl Handoff Ceremony Monday morning.
According to a press release, the ceremony was to provide a wrap-up from the week's activities leading up to Super Bowl LX followed by the handoff to the Los Angeles Super Bowl Host Committee ahead of Super Bowl LXI.
In addition to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, the following people attended the ceremony:

- Al Guido, CEO, San Francisco 49ers
- Eleni Kounalakis, Lieutenant Governor of California
- Kathryn Schloessman, President & CEO, Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission; CEO, Los Angeles Super Bowl Host Committee
- Quentin Lake, Los Angeles Rams Captain
- Barbara Lee, Mayor of Oakland
- Matt Mahan, Mayor of San Jose
- Lisa Gillmor, Mayor of Santa Clara
The Seattle Seahawks won Super Bowl LX against the New England Patriots Sunday, and Bad Bunny served as the halftime performer.
Super Bowl LXI is taking place February 14, 2027 at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, California, and will air on ABC, ESPN, Disney+, NFL+ and Hulu.
According to ABC, Super Bowl LXI will be ABC's first telecast of the game since February of 2006, and will also be the first time the Super Bowl will air on ESPN.
